Advance Auto offers a few modes of support, one is email, but all that happens is you "eventually" (think delay) receive an email that states they have no email based support! The next option is chat, you always start off as number 11 in line (i. E. delay), and eventually a rep responds, but with lots of unnecessary delays (e.g. Please provide your name and email (that you already entered to start the chat) so they can delay another five minutes to look things up). The rep pretends to be reviewing things, and while this (delay) happens, the chat always times out, kicking you completely out. The chat has no audio sound cues, so you must inconveniently (by design?) sit monitoring the chat visually to not miss your turn. And of course (conveniently for AA) no transcript is sent. Your last, and more importantly "untraceable" action is to call yes back to the 20th century for "advance" auto. Basically, they've created a system that stalls you out from getting immediate resolution on interests, allowing them to do things like gain interest on millions of dollars of funds their holding for wayward transactions. AVOID!

Also... check out their unbelievable return policy, they've essentially gated customers from returning COMMON parts types, and conveniently, they make no effort to be up front about this.

I will NEVER step foot in columbiana…

I will NEVER step foot in columbiana store ever again,I was walking around just window shopping and putting ideas together for my truck while waiting for the young lady working to write up a return I brought in, as I casually browsed around the store another employee hollered across the store and asked me if I was going to buy anything or not.I couldn't believe he said something that rude infront of other patrons. I politely responded what I was doing, signed the paperwork for my return and walked out even though I would like to have punched him right in the mouth! If that was my employee talking to my customers that way I would fire them on the spot!

I DON’T RECOMMEND

I made an online order to be shipped to my home. First off, they prepare the item I have purchased for shipping and gave me a shipping number. I waited for 1 WEEK yet the package hasn’t moved. I reach out to UPS, and they say there is no package. I contact Advance auto parts and they told me, “we never physically prepared your package, we apologize.” So I had to RE-ORDER, charge free, and now it has been stuck in customs FOR 5 DAYS already because it’s lacking information… here we go again Advance auto parts… Every customer support agent I have spoken to gave me DIFFERENT information and even WRONG phone numbers to call to best support my issue. Legend has it, I’m still waiting for my package, the legend is true… I honestly can’t with this business and they just lost a customer! I will always tell others not to order from here!!!

Rio grande NJ store.

Rio grande NJ store, there is a guy name rich in there that has the worst atatude I have ever seen,I'm a union machanic for 25 years,I try a stay with advance auto,but today I walked out,iv used that store 100 times,but never again.went to auto zone,in an out.

Good selection to choose from

I personally would choose advanced auto over auto zone any day. It seems that advanced auto actually interviews their employees before they hire them in

Do not get a lifetime warranty .I…

Do not get a lifetime warranty .I bought a water pump in 2003 it started leaking out of the weep hole in 2021 yes 17 years . Took it in with the original receipt. They said they could not replace it because it was so old
I said yes I understand it's old but I bought a lifetime warranty one .They said that it was against store policy. Then I started asking questions why . Then they said they would replace it out of good faith . I asked do I still get a warranty with this one they said only 90 day . And would not give me a receipt said I was in the system . I have had my truck sence 1997 brand new 200000 mile so yes I want lifetime parts . If Advance Auto will not stand behind there warranty and take care of the customers then I guess I will be going to a different parts store

A Very Concerned Customer!

I am a Major Advance customer that spends 3 to 4k a month. I recently stopped by my store in Mansfield, Ohio the Diamond street store to pick up some parts. Then I found out one of the Employees had been exposed to Covid by a family member this individual was tested negative so far but I think that they need to be quarantined for at least 7 days but according to the District Manager that the Individual was to return to work Asap! This DM needs to be talked to about his way of work ethic! So now my business will shop elsewhere until this store can follow the rules and look after there employees instead of the All mighty dollar!

Auto Craft 3 way Adjustable Leaf Spring Helper Kif

I have been having problems hauling stuff in my 1992 Ford F-150. Was needing a way to haul heavier stuff. Then I found the Auto Craft 3 way adjustable Leaf Spring Helper kit. Was very inexpensive under 35$. And after installation, which by the way was SUPER EASY only about 15-20 min per side, my truck was high again, tighten up in back end alot more, and has a 1,500 extra lb overload limit. Truck does not sway as much when loaded then before. Would definitely recommend to other people..

Ordered and cancelled online

Ordered and cancelled online. they successfully cancelled the order but never issued a refund --Even months after my cancellation, they continue to ignore my emails..
Worst company ever!!!!

Been going here for over 20 years for my parts needs.
Most recently needed help with replacing a die hard battery that I bought in Sears automotive in 2018 that was still under warranty and failed. I wasn’t sure what this process would be. Ben took care of me today and tested it out and verified failure and got me going with a warranty exchange.
Appreciate the good service here always.

Won't honor return on 2 day old item no communication

Spent $200 on a booster pack for my cousin for Christmas. Gave it to him and found the booster pack didn't work. He went to return it and they told him they won't take it back because it was an online order. Told him to take it back to the store he picked it up from.. I'm an hour away from where he lives so they want me to travel an hour away to get it replaced. Calling corporate us a waste of time as well. They put you on hold for an hour. Finally pick up tell them the problem then hang up on you. So now I guess.i have to travel out of my way for some bs advance won't take care of. Never again

Marck is the man

Marck is the man! I ordered a part online. It arrived broken. I took it to his store in Plano to have him return the part and order me a new one. He did whatever he needed to do for me to take care of my problem. All I had to do was sign my name! FIVE STARS TO MARCK AND ADVANCES AUTO PARTS!!!!!!
